moment of clarity, confidence, and connection.\nRole Summary\nWe are looking for a strong Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve the enterprise platform that serves as the foundation for engineering teams across the company.\nLeveraging GCP, Kubernetes/GKE, Terraform, GitOps, and automation, you will build scalable, secure, reliable, and reusable platform capabilities that accelerate software delivery, simplify operations, and provide a consistent developer experience.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on platform engineer who can take ownership from design through production, solve complex technical problems, establish engineering standards, and work across teams to improve the overall platform.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and operate scalable, secure, highly available, and reliable GCP platform capabilities. \nBuild and evolve production Kubernetes/GKE platforms supporting business-critical workloads. \nDevelop reusable platform capabilities, standards, and patterns that enable engineering teams to deploy and operate workloads consistently. \nBuild and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, with a focus on repeatability and maintainability. \nImplement and improve GitOps and CI/CD practices, using tools such as ArgoCD and other CI/CD platforms. \nDevelop automation using Python, Shell, or similar technologies to reduce manual operational work. \nDesign and implement GCP networking, IAM, compute, storage, load balancing, and security patterns that support application and platform workloads. \nTroubleshoot complex production issues across GCP, Kubernetes, networking, infrastructure, and platform services. \nImprove platform reliability, scalability, performance, security, and operational efficiency. \nBuild platform standards and self-service capabilities that improve the developer experience and reduce operational dependencies. \nParticipate in architecture and design reviews and provide technical guidance on platform engineering decisions. \nPartner closely with Application, SRE, DevOps, Security, and Architecture teams to understand requirements and deliver platform capabilities. \nLead or participate in major incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. \nMentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards, technical practices, and knowledge sharing. \nMust-Have Skills & Experience\n10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or a similar engineering role. \nStrong hands-on experience designing and operating GCP production environments. \nStrong production experience with Kubernetes/GKE. \nStrong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. \nHands-on experience with CI/CD and GitOps-based deployment practices. \nStrong understanding of GCP and cloud fundamentals, including: \nNetworking \nIAM and access control \nCompute \nStorage \nLoad balancing \nSecurity \nExperience building and operating highly available and scalable platforms. \nStrong production troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud and Kubernetes environments. \nExperience developing automation using Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages. \nExperience taking ownership of platform capabilities from design and implementation through production operations. \nStrong understanding of platform reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence. \nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across teams. \nDemonstrated technical leadership and ability to mentor engineers. \nGCP & Kubernetes\nStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in production. \nStrong experience operating Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) in production. \nGood understanding of GCP services and concepts relevant to platform engineering, including: \nVPC and networking \nIAM \nCompute Engine \nCloud Storage \nLoad Balancing \nCloud DNS \nSecret Manager \nCloud Monitoring \nExperience with Kubernetes concepts including workload management, networking, ingress, resource management, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting. \nAbility to understand and troubleshoot issues across the GCP → GKE → workload stack. \nInfrastructure as Code & Automation\nStrong experience using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure. \nExperience managing infrastructure through version-controlled repositories and automated workflows. \nUnderstanding of Terraform modules, state management, dependencies, and lifecycle management. \nAbility to develop reusable infrastructure patterns and automation. \nStrong focus on eliminating manual operational processes through automation. \nPlatform Engineering & Developer Experience\nExperience building reusable platform capabilities that can be consumed by multiple engineering teams. \nAbility to establish standardized patterns and guardrails without unnecessarily restricting development teams. \nUnderstanding of developer experience and the challenges application teams face when consuming cloud platforms. \nExperience improving deployment workflows, platform usability, and operational consistency. \nExposure to self-service platform capabilities is highly valuable. \nAbility to reduce operational dependencies and enable engineering teams to become more self-sufficient. \nPreferred Skills & Experience\nExperience operating enterprise-scale or multi-team GCP environments. \nExperience developing reusable Terraform modules, platform frameworks, or shared infrastructure capabilities. \nAdvanced GKE/Kubernetes platform engineering experience. \nExperience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms. \nExperience with ArgoCD, FluxCD, or other GitOps technologies. \nExperience implementing platform security, governance, and compliance controls. \nExperience with GCP services such as Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Memorystore, Artifact Registry, KMS, or similar services. \nExperience with cloud migration or application modernization initiatives. \nExperience working with distributed systems,
