This role combines hands-on technical work with technical leadership. You will set technical direction, own the build quality, performance, and scalability of our web presence, and oversee the work of other developers and designers.\nThis is a hands-on role. You will personally build and troubleshoot complex work while also raising the standard of everything the team produces through review, documentation, and shared practices.\nIn addition to individual craft, this role carries senior leadership responsibility for the India-based web development team, including accountability for the team’s collective output and close coordination with the US-based Digital Experience lead.\nKey Responsibilities and Deliverables\nWhat you will be responsible for and what you will do\nTechnical Ownership & Architecture\nOwn the technical architecture of our Webflow sites, including CMS structure, custom code integrations, and third-party API and app integrations.\nLead the design-to-development process, translating Figma mockups into responsive, accessible, high-performance pages.\nManage Webflow site settings, hosting, staging environments, versioning, and publishing workflows.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including custom interactions and animations built with Webflow native tools or GSAP.\nStandards, Quality & Performance\nEstablish and enforce best practices for site structure, SEO markup, page speed, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser and device compatibility.\nConduct code and design reviews and lead QA before launches.\nOptimise pages for Core Web Vitals and overall site performance.\nMaintain documentation of site structure, components, integrations, and workflows so knowledge is shared rather than held individually.\nMarketing Systems Integration\nOwn the integration of Marketo forms, landing pages, and tracking within the website, ensuring accurate lead capture and clean data flow into marketing automation.\nOversee implementation of tracking and analytics tags including GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Marketo Munchkin.\nSupport experimentation by ensuring test variants and experiment code can be implemented reliably.\nTeam Leadership & Oversight\nServe as the senior technical lead for web in India, overseeing the day-to-day work of other developers and designers and setting the quality bar.\nBe accountable for the collective deliverables of the India web development team, including prioritisation, workload balancing, timelines, and consistent quality.\nCoordinate closely with the US-based Digital Experience lead on priorities, intake, status, escalations, and technical direction.\nCoach and develop team members on Webflow craft, standards, and production discipline.\nManage relationships with external agencies or freelance contractors when needed.\nMaintain a working schedule with sufficient overlap with US business hours on at least a few days each week to enable live collaboration, reviews, and handoffs.\nExperience\nDemonstrated skills, competencies, and required experience\n6-9 years of web development experience, including at least 3 years building and maintaining production sites in Webflow.\nAt least 2 years in a senior, lead, or management capacity, overseeing the work of other developers or designers.\nProven portfolio of complex Webflow builds, such as CMS-driven sites or app-like interactions.\nStrong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including custom code embeds within Webflow.\nExperience integrating and troubleshooting Marketo or a comparable marketing automation platform on a website.\nStrong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser and device testing.\nExperience implementing tracking and analytics tags such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager.\nSolid understanding of SEO fundamentals as they relate to site markup, structure, and performance.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.\nQualifications & Preferred Distinctions\nAdditional accomplishments\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or a related field;
