8 engineers across backend and frontend\n\n- Drive architecture, system design and technical decisions\n\n- Build and scale distributed, multi-tenant SaaS systems\n\n- Own engineering quality, performance, testing and reliability\n\n- Mentor and develop engineers across levels\n\n- Work closely with Product, Architects and Customer teams\n\n- Drive adoption of AI coding tools and measure their impact\n\nWhat were looking for:\n\n- 815 years of software engineering experience\n\n- 3+ years of technical/team leadership experience\n\n- Strong hands-on backend experience - Java preferred, Python acceptable\n\n- Strong experience with distributed systems and scalable SaaS architecture\n\n- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases at production scale\n\n- Strong system design and problem-solving skills\n\n- Exposure to Kafka, microservices and cloud platforms\n\n- Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot or Claude Code\n\n- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nGood to have :\n\n- Exposure to logistics/optimization, AI/ML, RAG, embedding pipelines or agentic frameworks.\n\nLocation & Experience : Bengaluru | 8 -
