Join us and discover a pathway for career advancement, where your hard work is not only recognized, but rewarded.\nThis role is a full-time permanent position working Monday-Friday.\nWhat you will do as a Quality Control Technician:\nConduct thorough inspections of lumber and wood products to ensure they meet our quality standards.\nPerform various tests on products to check for defects, moisture content, and other quality indicators. \nMaintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and any quality issues detected.\nEnsure all products comply with industry standards and company specifications.\nIdentify and report any quality issues and work with production staff to implement corrective actions.\nRecommend and assist in implementing process improvements to enhance product quality.\nWork closely with production staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure quality standards are consistently met.\nExperience and skills that will help you stand out:\nPrevious experience in quality control, preferably in a sawmill or wood products industry.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.
