Reporting to the Regional Human Resources Manager, you’ll work closely with Hiring Managers, HR partners, and the broader Talent Acquisition team to build talent pipelines, develop sourcing strategies, and help our operations attract the people they need to succeed.\nA Day in the Life\nAs an Operations Recruitment Advisor, you will:\nLead full-cycle recruitment for hourly production positions, from intake and sourcing through selection and offer.\nPartner with Hiring Managers and HR to understand hiring needs and develop practical recruitment strategies.\nBuild proactive talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs.\nGet creative with sourcing, using recruitment technology, AI-enabled tools, and new approaches to reach qualified candidates.\nConduct candidate screens, interviews, assessments, references, and background checks.\nPresent qualified candidates and provide thoughtful, business-focused hiring recommendations.\nAdvise leaders on candidate availability, labour market conditions, sourcing strategies, and recruitment best practices.\nBalance candidate quality, speed, cost, and operational priorities when developing recruitment solutions.\nSupport job fairs, recruitment campaigns, employer branding, and other talent attraction initiatives.\nUse recruitment data and insights to identify opportunities and continuously improve how we hire.\nContribute to recruitment projects, process improvements, and best-practice sharing across the Talent Acquisition team.\nEnsure recruitment activities align with employment legislation, company policies, and inclusive hiring practices.\nFor This Role, You’ll Come Equipped With\n3+ years of progressive talent acquisition or recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment.\nProven success recruiting hard-to-fill roles and developing creative sourcing strategies.\nExperience partnering with Hiring Managers and HR as a trusted recruitment advisor.\nStrong knowledge of applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruitment technology.\nA proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong judgment, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience recruiting in manufacturing, wood products, skilled trades, or a multi-site environment is considered an asset.\nA CPHR, RPR, or related professional designation is considered an asset.\nIf you’re a recruiter who enjoys solving hiring challenges, building strong partnerships, and finding creative ways to connect great people with opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
