Daily operations include staff management, customer satisfaction, neat product presentation, inventory management and carrying out seasonal changes and promotional activities.\nAddress: 1225 1 Street SE Unit G High River, Alberta T1V 0J5 Canada\nResponsibilities\nJob Duties\nGreet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff.\nMake sure all customer complaints are addressed and handled professionally, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.\nEnsure that all health, safety and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met.\nMaintain adequate stock through efficient inventory management.\nTake inventory as scheduled and provide inventory reports.\nIncrease sales, expand markets, and promote business to meet given goals within provided guidelines.\nVerify invoices against packaging slips and track all expenditures.\nMake sure that merchandise is always presented neatly and that items are priced correctly.\nMake sound business decisions when buying large quantities with volume based discounts.\nProvide management with required sales, staff and other assigned productivity reports.\nHold staff accountable for cash box deficits.\nBalance sales, print and record receipts as well as track revenue daily.\nMake bank deposits daily and reconcile bank statements.\nContribute, coordinate and execute the process of ordering and receiving cannabis and accessories\nSupervise all staff in the establishment and coordinate work to ensure productive operations at all hours.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequirements\nMust have valid SellSafe Certification\nCompletion of high school and College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.\nMinimum of 5 years work experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment.\nMinimum 3+ years of work experience in Managerial role in full capacity. \nA valid First Aid certification is considered an asset\nProven excellent customer service skills.\nManagement experience preferred.\nExcellent time management and prioritizing skills.\nDemonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.\nSkills to monitor and assess staff performance.\nBasic office administration skills.\nHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite Highly effective teamwork skills.\nAble to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.\nStrong customer service and troubleshooting skills.\nPolitically and culturally sensitive.\nAble to plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion.\nWell-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.\nAbility to learn and adapt to sales software quickly.\nAbility to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday\nAbility to work nights, holidays and weekends and different location\nProfessional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential.
