In this varied role reporting to the Senior Manager - Tenders & Contracts, you will proactively partner with internal and external stakeholders and navigate complex high value contracts to deliver sound commercial outcomes.\n\n Scope of the role includes:\n\nReviewing customer contracts and requested amendments to reflect the dynamic nature of our sales opportunities\nProviding commercially focused and balanced risk assessments of exposure to Canon in contractual terms both in reviewing contracts and in negotiating final agreements\nWorking closely with peers, senior management, our in-house legal team and other key stakeholders to finalise contracts expeditiously\nUndertaking continual improvement actions within the team and across the business to improve the customer contract experience with Canon\n\nAbout you\n You are commercially astute and practical, with strong judgement and outstanding interpersonal skills. You excel at managing competing priorities and deadlines and have experience in managing sales contract negotiation including reviewing and drafting contractual terms and conditions while collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.\nYou are confident working autonomously with well-honed negotiation and influencing skills. Your exposure to drafting and negotiating complex sales, supply and/or service agreements will be highly regarded, along with being a strong team player who thrives on delivering exceptional commercial outcomes.\nKey skills and experience include:\nExtensive experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts\nAbility to assess and manage commercial and contractual risk\nDemonstrated negotiation and stakeholder influencing skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExperience working in a commercial sales or customer-focused environment\nHaving a tertiary qualification in a legal discipline and experience within a commercial sales environment would be an added advantage.\n\n What’s in it for you\n In return we offer a supportive team environment where collaboration and support from your leaders and peers are the norm.
