Working across consulting, project delivery and presales engagements, you will translate business, risk and compliance requirements into practical, scalable and supportable security architectures. You will work closely with customers, internal delivery teams and technology partners to guide the successful implementation of cloud security solutions, ensuring security controls are embedded into environments and aligned to operational and regulatory requirements.\nScope of the Role\nLead discovery workshops, security assessments and architecture engagements for customer environments.\nDesign, review, and govern enterprise cloud architecture across the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform) and multicloud/hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration, robust data governance, and end-to-end security compliance.Develop architecture artefacts including target-state architectures, security roadmaps, control mappings and implementation plans.\nProvide technical leadership across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender suite (XDR), Entra, Purview, Intune, Copilot, Azure and Microsoft 365 Security solutions.\nAct as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders, translating complex security concepts into practical business outcomes.\nGuide project teams through design, review, implementation, transition and operational handover activities.\nHands-on architecture capability, including prototyping, troubleshooting and technical validation where required.\nContribute to governance, risk and compliance activities aligned to frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, ASD Essential Eight and ISM.\nSupport presales activities including solution design, technical workshops, proposals, estimates and statements of work.\nMentor consultants and engineers and contribute to the development of security practice capabilities and standards.\nPromote continuous improvement through reusable architectures, best practices and lessons learned.\n\nLearn more about our Cyber Security practicehere\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for an experienced security professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent consulting and stakeholder management skills. You will be comfortable engaging with senior customer stakeholders, leading technical discussions and providing architecture guidance across complex environments. Key Skills and Experience include:\nDemonstrated experience designing and delivering cloud security solutions within enterprise, government or managed services environments.\nDeep expertise across Microsoft security technologies including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender suite (XDR), , Entra, Purview, Intune, Copilot, Azure and Microsoft 365 Security.\nStrong understanding of cloud, network and application security; identity and access management, security operations, vulnerability management, threat detection and response, data and AI protection, governance, risk and compliance.\nExperience producing architecture documentation, security standards and technical design artefacts.\nExcellent workshop facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nAbility to translate business and regulatory requirements into practical security architectures and implementation roadmaps.\nExperience contributing to solution design, bids, tenders or presales activities.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nRelevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications in Cyber Security, Cloud or Architecture disciplines.\nMicrosoft Expert Level Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100) or equivalent certifications highly regarded.\nIf you enjoy solving complex security challenges, influencing technical direction and helping organisations strengthen their security posture, this role could be for you!\nOn Offer\n\nWhen you join Canon Business Services, you become part of a trusted, industry leading organisation that empowers people to grow, innovate and make a meaningful impact.
