This is an exciting opportunity for creative candidates with mechanical knowledge who enjoy a technical challenge.\n\nYou will work in various customer sites nationwide, to setup and upgrade software in our semiconductor equipment, troubleshoot software related issues, and partner with customers to setup/select optional functions and troubleshoot automation settings. If you have experience with SECS/GEM automation and enjoy resolving technical challenges, this could be the job for you!\n\nYour Impact\n\n- Organize and track both computer hardware and software configuration on all products in the field.\n- Liaison with local, domestic and overseas software design team regarding software and/or automation related problems in the field\n- Set up hardware, install and configure software, drivers and peripheral devices with knowledge of networking components\n- Discuss with customers about Semiconductor equipment automation specifications (SECS/GEM Software compliance)\n\nAbout You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring\n\nBachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required plus 5 years of related experience, or a Masters degree preferably in an Engineering discipline.\n\nAttention to detail with excellent communication skills \n\nJapanese language skills a plus\n\nExcellent leadership skills required\n\nFamiliar with SQL, UNIX, LINUX environment and scripting languages\n\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals and concepts\n\nKnowledge of semiconductor automation system in SEMI SECS/GEM \n\nStrong understanding of software languages and computer hardware.\n\nSolid understanding in data structures and algorithms\n\nExperience in developing or debugging software applications\n\nUp to 50% overnight travel required (domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs. Up to 80% travel could be required for initial 6 months for training purpose. \n\nMay require considerable travel valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary. Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.\n\nMicrosoft Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Basic Excel) and any other Database knowledge skills a plus. \n\nRequires ability to lift up to 50 pounds individually and for lifting over 50 pounds assistance may be available.\n\nSubstantial amount of standing, walking, typing, grasping, talking and hearing. \n\nSome amount of driving required, sometime for multiple hours at a time.\n\nOccasionally kneeling, crouching, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and climbing stairs\n\nThe worker is required to have close visual acuity with or without corrective lenses for extensive reading; visual inspection involving mechanical / electrical parts, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.\n\nWorking in lab may require wearing gloves, safety glasses.\n\nThe work environment may include a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, exposure to chemicals, lasers, close quarters, narrow aisles or passageways.\n\nThe work environment may include working in highly time sensitive situations requiring quick resolutions. \n\nIn accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated salary range for this role, $104,870 - $157,050\n\nCompany Overview\n\nAbout our Company -#CUSA \n\nWorkstyle Description\n\nHybrid - This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office three days a week and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days).
