This role will report directly to the Global Head of Talent Science.\nTo be successful you will bring:\nAnalytical tooling to coach and lead the team\nExperience of leading roadmaps and projects\nExperience of leading others to achieve exceptional results\nLocation: These are remote based positions that are available across the globe.\nThe role entails\nLeading a team to deliver against a set of strategic objectives, with focus on product design and implementation of our roadmap. \nCracking the code on hiring, connecting performance outcomes back to selection methods to ensure we identify and progress exceptional talent.\nDesigning professional processes and frameworks, allowing efficient delivery of our agenda.\nCoaching and mentoring team members to grow and develop skill sets specifically around analytical capabilities and thought leadership, developing training materials and documentation to support team members.\nDriving and representing the team in the absence of the Head of, acting as a credible and trusted adviser and an inspiring leader.\nWorking closely with company leaders to understand, appreciate and communicate our vision for talent at Canonical.\nWhat we are looking for in you\nExceptional academic track record from both high school and university, with an undergraduate degree in a people based subject.\n7+ years experience in a Talent function, with a deep appreciation of recruitment and selection and analytics that drive decision making.\nProven analytical ability to dissect and analyse data using SQL. Alternatively use Python, R, SPSS, or, possess the ability to run lookups, indexing, matching formulae with an appetite to learn SQL.\nExposure to BI tools (Superset is our platform).\nExemplary ability to lead and drive others to deliver, including exceptional project management and coaching to lead roadmap execution and delivery.\nExceptional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills for a senior audience.\nSincere personal motivation aligned with our mission.\nInternational travel 2-4 times a year for company events up to two weeks long.\nIn addition we expect that you will match our values, by being:\nPrecise, taking care to deliver correctness and clarity.\nReliable, delivering high quality work that builds trust and confidence.\nAccessible, collaborating to build products and systems that are usable.\nAdroit, blending enthusiasm, knowledge, adaptability, style and character.\nNice-to-have skills\nAdvanced psychometric skills.\nA deep understanding of human behaviour, in particular intrinsic motivation.\nExperience of using Superset and/or Greenhouse\nWhat we offer colleagues\nWe consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide.
