You will understand the tools and techniques used to introduce new products, and will work with teams across the company to drive quality improvements through the entire development cycle.\nAs a Software Quality Assurance Engineer you will:\nPlan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy and document\nImprove our automated test capability with design and code contributions\nPerform automated and manual testing of Ubuntu Desktop, Server and Core on varies latest hardware.\nSuggest solutions to identified product problems\nCollaborate with the Project team to ensure consistent project execution\nIdentify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest improvements\nOversee continuous improvement projects \nCollect quality data\nEstablish proactive measures to improve the quality and reliability of the Ubuntu platform\nPrepare time estimates and schedule for testing activities\nIdentify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely in the bugs database\nWork with development teams across multiple projects to build efficient, effective automated testing\nCommunicate effectively with colleagues in a variety of time zones around the world\nTriage test reports and customer bugs\nThe successful Software Quality Assurance Engineer will have :\nExperience with the Linux desktop, and related technologies.
