role:\nCanopius is seeking a highly motivated Developer to support the technology roadmap, delivering world class solutions to enable all areas of the business to achieve their strategic and business Development Responsibilities \nDesigns, develops, and tests high-quality software solutions.\nContributes across the software development lifecycle, from analysis and design through deployment and ongoing support.\nCollaborates within agile teams to deliver full-stack technical solutions using appropriate tools and technologies.\nMaintains and enhances existing applications, systems, and platforms.\nDevelops and maintains application frameworks of moderate to high complexity.\nManages assigned tasks and deliverables in line with project schedules and agreed parameters.\nAnalyses requirements to identify integration and testability considerations.\nUndertakes other duties appropriate to the role as required.\nCollaboration & Leadership\nWork with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. \nContribute to design reviews, architecture discussions, and governance forums. \nShare good practice with junior developers, particularly around maintainability, testing and release readiness. \nSkills and Experience:\nRequired\nSolid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with experience in component-based architecture, server-side rendering, and static site generation.\nExperience in modern front-end development, with hands-on experience using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS to build responsive, accessible, and performant web applications.\nExperience integrating with Python-based backend services, including RESTful APIs and asynchronous data flows.\nFamiliarity with API consumption patterns, including RESTful services, authentication strategies, and error handling.\nBackground in .NET and .NET Core using C#, particularly in building and integrating backend services and APIs.\nGood understanding of object-oriented programming principles, including SOLID and common design patterns.\nExperience with database design and development, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL.\nCommitment to clean code, coding standards, and industry best practices, with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and performance.\nHighly Desirable\nRelevant experience with Azure DevOps, Pipelines, continuous integration and deployment. \nRelevant experience with Azure cloud technologies.\nBSc degree in numerate discipline preferred (Maths, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering).\nRelevant experience of analysis, design and implementation of systems and
