including Power & Renewables, Downstream, Midstream & Upstream and Mining & Heavy Industries.\n Key Responsibilities\nDevelop the Power & Renewable energy business and proposition in APAC & MENA, as per the Global/Regional Natural Resources SBF Management Plan\nWork in close cooperation within London team and work within underwriting guidelines and risk appetite philosophy \nEvaluate insurance risks in accordance with the Business Plan and personal authority to meet business objectives effectively\nFoster and sustain robust connections with stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and team members, to enhance influence and support business initiatives.\nEstablish strategic partnerships aligned with the Business Plan to facilitate the attainment of organizational goals.\nAdhere to the insurance strategy to minimize risk and achieve targets outlined in the business plan.\nActively engage in shaping and refining strategies, knowledge, and best practices within the team.\nAdvocate positively for the department, division, and company brand to effectively leverage brand recognition.\nEnsure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards to fulfil organizational obligations.\nUphold underwriting guidelines, instructions, and best practices to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.\nRemain knowledgeable about market dynamics and demonstrate awareness of market cycles to operate effectively.\nEncourage and develop team members.\n Skills & Experience \nProven underwriting or broking experience in the Power or Renewables and Singapore Insurance market with a good understanding of market dynamics.\nContribute to long-term success of the overall business through business planning, organisation and development\nConfident and good communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders\nStrong working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint).\nActive involvement and market player in APAC region are essential \nLloyd’s and London market experience would be an advantage. \nStrong IT skills, literacy, numerate and having analytical and negotiation skills.\nAbility to build relationships, with capacity to travel and undertake marketing\nAbility to work under pressure, able to commit to and meet deadlines.\nAble to take initiative and be a decision maker.\nAdaptable and flexible to the needs of the
