The Forklift Lead will provide guidance and support to any specific area of responsibility and, or team as designated by the Warehouse Manager. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and, or Supervisor(s) and handles issues occurring within the warehouse regarding processes.\nEssential Functions/Key Deliverables\nMaintain familiarity with and understanding of stock levels within the warehouse daily and check the range of duties assigned for the current day.\nProvide team with necessary information and tools to effectively perform duties.\nOversees the proper completion of work tasks and provide hands-on assistance when needed.\nRecord pre-use checks in the provided system or the vehicle logbook as required. \nCheck the delivered quantities and condition of the goods recording data on the receiving form accurately.\nUnload goods, packaging, raw materials and other from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places using FLT.\nUse the SAP RFID scanning system equipment correctly following set orders and assigned tasks to ensure accuracy of inventory. Coordinate to ensure RF monitors are in good working order. \nTransport materials to the production department complying with FIFO procedures.\nSelect /sort packaging materials when required and assist with stock take.\nAssist with the implementation and maintenance of CP systems, including performing internal audits as required. \nSafely exchange fork truck gas cylinders, refill fuel tank, or replace, re-charge batteries (whichever applies).\nEnsure warehouse documentation: inbound, outbound, and other orders are recorded and held in the SAP system and other programs.\nCoordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product and picking/staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity.\nCoordinates and verifies required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all product is properly counted.\nEnsures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.\nParticipates in establishing work schedules ensuring correct implementation.\nMust adhere to all plant GMP and BRC requirements.\nPerform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role. \nAssist Warehouse Coordinator in the day-to-day duties.\nKnowledge/Skills/Experience\nHigh school or equivalent preferred.\nPrevious forklift experience preferred.\nAbility to operate a forklift is required.\nAbility to communicate in English.\nAbility to perform basic math functions.\nA basic working knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office, SAP.\nAbility to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization.\nPhysical Demands\nN (Not Applicable) Activity is not applicable to this position. \nO (Occasionally) Position requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 - 2.5+ hrs/day) \nF (Frequently) Position requires this activity from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs/day) \nC (Constantly) Position requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day)\nLift/Carry 10 lbs or less F 11-25 lbs F \nPush/Pull 10 lbs or less F 11-25 lbs F \nStand F \nWalk F \nSit F \nManually Manipulate O \nReach Outward O \nReach Above Shoulder O \nClimb O \nCrawl O \nSquat or Kneel O \nBend O\nOther Physical Requirements \nVision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth) \nSense of Sound - Ability to understand conversational speaking \nSense of Touch \nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - per safety guidelines \nMobility to cover expansive manufacturing environment\nWork Environment \nAbility to work in an environment that can become very hot (temperature) depending on the weather.\nReasonable Accommodations Statement\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
