Maintains and diagnoses critical equipment, including calibration and maintenance schedule\n\nLeverage internal R&D and plant labs to establish laboratory best practices. Utilizes equipment in a safe operating manner and in compliance withNovelissafety standards\n\nIdentify key lab safety points and complete risk assessments as needed\n\nDevelop training materials and facilitate trainingprogramsas necessary\n\nDocument and enforce laboratory safety rules.\n\nPerform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.\n\nKnowledge/Skills/Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Chemistry required; Master’s Degree is preferred\n\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in a Chemistry lab, preferably in a can industry lab or in a beverage industry lab\n\nPractical experience with lab instruments such as Infrared Spectroscope, ICP-OES Spectro-photometer, etc.\n\nProven ability to produce accurate technical analysis and lab reports\n\nKnowledge of Electro Chemistry required\n\nKnowledge of Polymer Chemistry, TAFEL and EIS testing would be a plus\n\nStrong math, analytical, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workload\n\nProven problem-solving skills\n\nProven communication skills and the ability to work well with others\n\nAbility to evaluate information quickly, identify key issues, and formulate conclusions\n\nKnowledge of statistics and Statistical Software, MS Office\n\nPhysical Demands\nN (Not Applicable) Activity is not applicable to this position. \nO (Occasionally) Position requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 -
