Title: Production Supervisor\nB Crew- 7am-7pm\nDepartment: Production\nReports To (Title): Line Manager\nJob Purpose\nOversee teams, processes and resources throughout the shift to achieve production goals, enhance employee development, and improve production line efficiency, while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards.\nDuties and Tasks\n(To be performed in full alignment with CANPACK Core Values: Respect, Safety, Teamwork, Integrity, Quality, and Innovation)\nSupervise team operations, assign tasks, manage absences, oversee activities, and track performance to ensure efficient task completion. \nSupervise production line operations, monitor equipment, quality and efficiency, and ensure adherence to standards and schedules while achieving production goals. \nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) during the assigned shift to ensure achievement of shift-level output, quality, and delivery targets.\nCoordinate and support employees’ training strategies, assess skill levels, and ensure they possess and apply the required capabilities to meet operational standards. \nEnsure continuous monitoring of manufactured product quality, adherence to quality standards, and prompt initiation of corrective actions in cases of deviations or non-conformities.\nIdentify and resolve production issues, support continuous improvement efforts, and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and product quality. \nConduct performance reviews to assess individual contributions, provide feedback, and support employee development. \nPromote a high-performance culture and support the professional growth of team members through coaching and skills building, aligned with company’s training curricula and strategies. \nContribute to short- and medium-term operational planning by providing input based on shift-level performance, resource availability, and production challenges.\nCoordinate shift handovers and personnel scheduling to ensure operational continuity and efficiency, including managing holidays, overtime, and collaboration with production and support teams.\nEnsure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Maintain the area in accordance with 5S standards and Continuous Improvement methodologies. \nPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor, in line with the scope of the position and employment agreement. \nRequired Qualifications\nIndicate the minimum recruitment specification, the ideal person specification, the preferred minimum qualifications and skills required for full satisfactory job performance and to meet expectations\nQualifications and Education\nInclude any specialized education and qualifications needed to be able to do the job.\nWork Experience\nClarify the minimum years of total work experience and other relevant work experience required to be able to perform the job\nVocational or associate degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nSkills\nKnowledge\nStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to assess employee skills, coordinate training, and support development. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels. \nIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and resource management.\nSafety procedures and enforcement.\nSolid understanding of production equipment and technical operations, with the ability to interpret process parameters, monitor performance.\nComprehensive working knowledge of quality, safety, and compliance standards relevant to the industry.\nFamiliarity with Continuous Improvement methodologies.\nTraining\nInclude any specific training (both internal and external) needed to do the job.\nLanguage\nInclude the level of required language needed to do the job.\nHealth & Safety (Occupational Safety Training).\nCompany Policies and Code of Conduct.\nLeadership & Communication.\nProduct Process and Quality.\nLean Manufacturing & Problem-Solving Tools.\nThe employee may be required to complete additional training as directed by the
