You’ll own the long-term strategy and day-to-day execution of our content marketing machine, working closely with executives, comms leadership, and our community team.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nOversee all outbound copywriting across long-form, social, paid, and executive thought leadership.\n\nHire, train, and manage Cantina’s editorial team across consumer growth, creator growth, and Labs recruiting.\n\nCollaborate with executives and comms leadership to build and maintain key marketing messaging.\n\nDevelop brand voices for Cantina’s core social accounts, Labs account, and executives.\n\nPopulate and execute the content calendar across all channels.\n\nHelp Cantina develop its own thriving, platform-native new media property.\n\nLearn and apply the latest editorial GTM strategies to beat the algorithms and win attention.\n\nCoordinate content amplification campaigns in collaboration with our community team.\n\nSeize on narrative opportunities that arise out of news, trends, and X debate.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nExperience managing a multi-person creative or content marketing team.\n\nExceptional persuasive writing skills for capturing attention.\n\nA fast-shipping, non-perfectionist, experimental mindset: you’d rather post five times today and learn what works than spend a week polishing one announcement.\n\nHigh taste as a curator, with the ability to quickly sort good content from bad and give clear, direct feedback.\n\nA voracious appetite for learning the latest channels, algorithmic hacks, and content strategies.\n\nA data-driven approach, using metrics to iterate on content strategy.\n\nChronically online instincts for spotting opportunities for rapid messaging.\n\nBonus Points For:\nHands-on experience running and everinternal amplification communities.\n\nPreviously a managing editor of a modern media outlet.\n\nFormer mid-to-late stage consumer content marketing team leader.\n\nA track record founding and growing a solo new media property.\n\nCompensation:\nThe anticipated annual base salary range for this role is between $230,000-$380,000.
