You can find out more about us atwww.capbay.com\nAbout the Role:\nWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP), AM to oversee and manage the Accounts Payable of our dynamic and fast-paced organization. The Accounts Payable (AP), AM will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the AP process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AP processes, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, mentor, and develop the AP team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.\nManage day-to-day operations of the AP department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.\nOversee the end-to-end AP process, including invoice receipt, approval confirmation, coding into the accounting software, payment processing, and reconciliation.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements in all AP activities.\nMonitor and manage the AP ageing report, ensuring that all outstanding invoices are addressed promptly.\nContinuously evaluate and improve AP processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.\nImplement and leverage AP automation tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual processing.\nIdentify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the AP process, recommending and implementing best practices.\nCollaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close activities.\nWork closely with the procurement, treasury, and accounting teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of AP activities.\nSupport the finance department in cash flow management, expense analysis, and financial planning.\nKey Qualifications and Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.\nExperience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a large organization or a shared services center.\nStrong understanding of end-to-end AP processes, including invoice processing, payment cycles, and vendor management.\nProficiency in accounting software (Oracle NetSuite) and AP automation tools is preferred.\nExcellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing a high-performing team.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, team members, and senior management.\nSolid understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and financial reporting.\nStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nA proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\nWhy Join CapBay?\nShape the future of the accounting department in one of Malaysia's fastest-growing FinTech firms.\nWork at the forefront of financial innovation where technology and finance meet.\nAn attractive remuneration package, comprehensive benefits, and a culture that celebrates success.\nOur Achievements\nTop 200 Global Fintech Companies -
