You can find out more about us atwww.capbay.com\n\nAbout the Role:\nIn this role, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that all applications received from the Sales and Business Development team are properly filtered through an ever-sophisticated credit scoring system, keeping in line with CapBay's mission to provide smart and inclusive financing to SMEs whilst maintaining investors' trust in us.\nKey Responsibilities:\nWe are looking for someone who is able to:\nProvide credit evaluation on financing applications submitted by Business Units covering risk assessment, appropriate facility structuring, etc. This includes completion of credit papers / memos / term sheets for submission to the relevant approving authority / Credit Committee for decision.\nProvide financial projections or sensitivity analysis for credit evaluation where necessary.\nInterview clients with Relationship Managers during site visits if required.\nPerform independent post-approval reviews on credit accounts.\nMonitor loan portfolio repayments as well as conduct periodic credit reviews on accounts.\nAssess and ensure the overall good health of the department's credit portfolio.\nPrepare ad-hoc reports and statistics.\nAssist in managing the effectiveness of credit policies, guidelines and procedures.\nParticipate in credit-related business development meetings with external parties.\n\nKey Qualifications and Requirements:\nWe are looking for someone with:\nMinimum 3 years of experience in Retail Business / SME credit analysis OR SME / Business Banking sales-relationship management experience.\nMinimum a recognised Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.\nProfessional experience in Finance or Credit Analysis and/or qualifications such as Credit Certified Professional (CCP) / Professional Credit Certification (CCE/BCP) from AICB / Omega CSA will be an added advantage.\nStrong analytical skills with a good grasp of financial analysis and cash flow projections.\nSound knowledge of credit products, credit policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nUp-to-date knowledge of the latest financial, banking, compliance and economic-related news/issues.\nGood interpersonal and writing skills, with fluency in English and comprehension of Bahasa Malaysia.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel;
