This role plays a key part in driving financial performance, supporting strategic business decisions, and ensuring effective financial management through robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and department heads to provide financial insights, identify business trends and risks, and translate financial data into actionable recommendations. This role will also oversee the development of financial models, performance dashboards, and management reports to support the company's growth and long-term business objectives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and resource requirements.\nDevelop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making.\nMonitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances, risks, and opportunities.\nOversee the preparation of monthly management reports, financial dashboards, and performance analyses for senior management.\nAnalyse revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, and other key financial metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.\nProvide meaningful explanations of financial variances and recommend corrective actions where necessary.\nEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance across departments and business units.\nPartner with department heads and business leaders to provide financial insights, support strategic planning, and improve financial performance.\nEvaluate business proposals, investment opportunities, and new initiatives to assess their financial viability and potential returns.\nConduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of changing business conditions on financial performance.\nMonitor cash flow forecasts, working capital requirements, and expenditure trends to support effective financial planning and cost management.\nIdentify opportunities for cost optimisation and ensure spending aligns with approved budgets and business priorities.\nLead, coach, and develop the FP&A team to strengthen analytical capabilities and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality financial reports and analyses.\nDrive continuous improvement and automation of financial planning, reporting, and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nCollaborate with Finance, Accounting, and other relevant teams to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial information.\nLead ad hoc financial analyses and special projects to support business expansion, product development, and other strategic initiatives.\nKey Qualifications and Requirements:\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. A professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification would be an advantage.\nAt least 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, financial management, or a related field, preferably with experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.\nStrong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and management reporting.\nProven ability to analyse complex financial data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.\nStrong business acumen and experience partnering with senior stakeholders and department heads.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
