Our compensation policies are designed to allow our people to progress through our defined salary range over time as they progress in their role.\nRole Description\nRole purpose\nProvide central quality assurance and constructive challenge for the technical, operational, data and resilience aspects of BRT scenarios. The role will assess whether systems, interfaces, batch processes, data, recovery arrangements and operational controls are sufficiently tested and evidenced to support readiness decisions.\nKey responsibilities \nOwn relevant Central scenarios;\nReview and quality-assure technical acceptance criteria created or co-created by Value Stream SMEs;\nCheck whether criteria are technically testable and linked to observable evidence;\nReview evidence from systems, interfaces, batch runs, reconciliations, logs and reports;\nAssess whether evidence relates to the correct:\nSystem\nEnvironment\nData set\nProcess step\nFailure condition\nRecovery outcome\nChallenge unsupported technical coverage claims;\nIdentify limitations relating to:\nTest environments\nTest data\nFailure injection\nProduction monitoring\nBatch scheduling\nSystem availability\nSupport the design of targeted BRT tests for technical and operational gaps;\nReview resilience and recovery evidence, including alternate processing and manual workarounds;\nSupport gap prioritisation and risk-acceptance recommendations.\nSkills and Expertise\nEssential skills and experience\nExperience in complex banking system testing, migration or test assurance;\nStrong understanding of system interfaces and cross-system dependencies;\nExperience with data migration, reconciliation and reference integrity;\nExperience reviewing test evidence and traceability;\nKnowledge of batch processing, end-of-day processing and exception handling;\nUnderstanding of reruns, duplicate processing, recovery and operational controls;\nAbility to assess logs, reports, reconciliations, audit trails and runbooks;\nAbility to translate technical gaps into focused, executable tests;\nStrong analytical and documentation skills.\nPriority domain knowledge \nBatch and end-of-day processing;\nSystem interfaces and data flows;\nMigration data and reconciliation;\nOperational recovery and resilience testing;\nThe role does not need to be a software developer, system architect or detailed infrastructure specialist.
