You will contribute to the secure management of cryptographic keys, digital certificates, and application secrets while helping organizations strengthen their cryptographic capabilities and prepare for future security challenges.\nYou will collaborate with security specialists, architects, application teams, infrastructure experts, and other stakeholders to translate security and regulatory requirements into secure, scalable, and operationally feasible solutions.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nManage the lifecycle of cryptographic keys, digital certificates, and application secrets, including rotation, renewal, revocation, and access management.\n\nOperate, monitor, and support Hardware Security Module (HSM) infrastructures and other cryptographic platforms.\n\nHelp ensure high availability, operational stability, and compliance of security-critical infrastructure.\n\nSupport and execute cryptographic key ceremonies.\n\nInvestigate and resolve incidents related to encryption, authentication, certificates, key management, and secrets management.\n\nSupport PKI and certificate lifecycle management activities.\n\nWork with HashiCorp Vault or comparable technologies for secure application secrets management.\n\nIdentify security risks and contribute to structural improvements and automation.\n\nCollaborate with engineering and application teams to integrate cryptographic services securely into their environments.\n\nAct as a trusted subject matter expert on cryptographic technologies, standards, algorithms, and security best practices.\n\nYou will also have the opportunity to contribute to strategic security initiatives in areas such as:\nPost-Quantum Cryptography - assessing cryptographic risks and helping organizations prepare for the transition towards quantum-resistant solutions.\n\nCrypto Agility - improving the ability to replace, rotate, and manage cryptographic algorithms, keys, and certificates efficiently.\n\nPKI & Certificate Readiness - preparing applications and platforms for evolving certificate and Extended Key Usage requirements.\n\nHSM Lifecycle Management - supporting upgrades, migrations, configuration, and renewal of HSM platforms.\n\nKey Management - improving governance and operational processes around cryptographic keys.\n\nSecurity Automation - automating certificate, key, and secrets management processes where possible.\n\nPlatform Integration - integrating cryptographic and security services into broader enterprise technology environments.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nExperience\n5+ years of relevant professional experience within IT Security, cybersecurity, cryptography, PKI, security infrastructure, or key management.\n\nStrong hands-on experience in technically complex and business-critical IT environments.\n\nExperience operating or supporting high-availability security infrastructure.\n\nExperience working with multiple technical and business stakeholders.\n\nPrevious experience within financial services or another highly regulated environment is strongly valued.\n\nExperience working in Agile environments is considered an advantage.\n\nBusiness & Technical Skills\nWe are looking for a professional with strong knowledge in several of the following areas:\nHardware Security Modules (HSMs)\n\nPublic Key Infrastructure (PKI)\n\nDigital certificates and certificate lifecycle management\n\nCryptographic key management\n\nHashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management platforms\n\nCryptographic algorithms and standards\n\nEncryption and authentication technologies\n\nHigh-availability security infrastructure\n\nSecurity and access management\n\nSecurity compliance and regulatory requirements\n\nCryptographic key ceremonies\n\nHands-on experience with enterprise HSM technologies such as nCipher/Entrust or comparable platforms is a strong advantage.\nKnowledge of the following is also valuable:\nNIST cryptographic standards and recommendations\n\nPCI-DSS and other security frameworks\n\nEuropean financial services security and regulatory requirements\n\nPython, Bash, or other scripting languages\n\nSecurity process automation\n\nIT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow\n\nAgile methodologies and tooling\n\nCryptography & Security Expertise\nWe are particularly interested in professionals with practical
