This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader, in a growing team of data practitioners, where you will be initiating and implementing cutting-edge data & analytics programmes for top-tier Financial Services clients.\nThis project is with a leading global bank as a Data Engineer leading and managing end-to-end data migration activities. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES \nLead and manage end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.\nServe as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and driving resolution of migration-related issues.\nCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define migration scope, requirements, dependencies, and success criteria.\nDevelop and oversee data extraction, transformation, migration, and validation processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.\nDesign, build, and optimize data pipelines to support migration and ongoing data integration requirements.\nDefine and manage migration plans, including sequencing of activities, testing, cutover execution, and post-migration support.\nIdentify project risks, data quality concerns, and delivery issues, and proactively implement mitigation and resolution strategies.\nSKILLS & EXPERTISE\n5 years of experience in data engineering and data migration within Financial Services. \n\nProven experiencedelivering large-scale data migration projects, including planning, execution, validation, and cutover activities. \n\nStrong hands-on experience with Python scripting for data extraction, transformation, automation, and migration-related processes. \n\nSolid understanding of data quality management, reconciliation, and migration testing methodologies. \n\nExperience designing and building data pipelines using modern data engineering technologies;
