As a global leader in technology and management consulting, we help clients tackle complex challenges across banking, payments, capital markets, wealth, and asset management.\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in banking and financial services to lead and deliver complex business and technology transformation initiatives within a global financial institution.\nThe ideal candidate will combine solid project management expertise with a good understanding of financial processes, banking operations, regulatory requirements and risk management. The role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, a structured approach to delivery and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, international environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in line with agreed quality standards.\nManage complex transformation and change initiatives across Finance, Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance functions.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, resource allocations and delivery roadmaps.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams and manage dependencies across business and technology workstreams.\nEstablish effective project governance, including status reporting, steering committee updates, risk and issue management, and escalation processes.\nWork closely with senior stakeholders to align project objectives with business priorities and strategic goals.\nIdentify, assess and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulatory requirements.\nSupport business process improvements, operational efficiency initiatives and technology-driven transformation.\nFacilitate requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.\nDrive stakeholder engagement, change management and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably within banking, financial services or financial consulting.\nProven track record of delivering complex business, regulatory or technology transformation projects.\nStrong understanding of banking operations, financial processes and the regulatory environment.\nExperience working with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology stakeholders.\nSolid knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches.\nStrong experience in project planning, budget management, governance, RAID management and executive reporting.\nAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a global, matrix organisation.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.\nExperience working with distributed, cross-functional and international teams.\nProficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.\nFluent English, both written and spoken.\nNice to Have\nExperience in financial transformation, regulatory change, financial reporting or banking technology modernisation.\nKnowledge of banking products and processes, including payments, liquidity management, lending or financial controls.\nFamiliarity with financial regulations and compliance frameworks.\nExperience in process optimisation, automation or digital transformation initiatives.\nProject management certifications
