The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kubernetes, along with proven experience in solution design, cloud-native application development, and production deployments.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design, development, modernization, and deployment of Java-based microservices applications.\nDrive the migration of existing applications to Kubernetes-based environments.\nDefine scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable microservices architecture aligned with enterprise engineering standards.\nProvide technical leadership to backend developers and SDET engineers, ensuring engineering quality and delivery consistency.\nDesign and review RESTful APIs, service integrations, asynchronous processing, and application configuration strategies.\nCollaborate with, Architect, and Tech Lead on solution design, technical decisions, and delivery planning.\nDrive region-specific application customizations and coordinate cross-team dependencies for regional deployments.\nOversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes deployments, observability, and release management.\nConduct code reviews, technical design reviews, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.\nEnsure adherence to secure coding, automated testing, engineering standards, and production readiness requirements.\nMandatory Technical Skills\n8+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java backend development.\nAdvanced proficiency in Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices Architecture.\nStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, containerization, and application migration/deployment on Kubernetes.\nExperience designing REST APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.\nExperience with SQL/NoSQL databases, Kafka or other messaging systems, and API security.\nProficiency in Kubernetes deployment concepts including Helm, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Services, Ingress, and scaling.\nStrong understanding of application monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and production incident management.\nProven technical leadership, solution design, and stakeholder coordination skills.
