The individual will be responsible for developing scalable backend services, implementing application changes, and supporting migration and deployment activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based Spring Boot, Spring Batch, microservices.\nDevelop RESTful APIs, backend integrations, and event-driven application components.\nImplement region-specific application changes and configuration requirements.\nBuild and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes deployment configurations.\nContribute to CI/CD automation, release readiness, and application deployments.\nPerform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.\nCollaborate with Tech Leads, SDET engineers, DevOps teams, and other MDES stakeholders.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and production issue resolution.\nEnsure compliance with application security, coding standards, and engineering best practices. Mandatory Technical Skills\n5-8 years of Java backend development experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.\nPractical experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including deployment and troubleshooting of containerized Java applications.\nStrong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP, and microservices communication patterns.\nExperience with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and relational databases.\nWorking knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins or equivalent tools.\nExperience with JUnit, Mockito, integration testing, and debugging.\nUnderstanding of distributed application architecture, logging, monitoring, and exception handling.
