Capco is a management and technology consultancy founded in 1998 that works exclusively for the financial services industry, covering banking, capital markets, wealth management, insurance and payments. Unlike the broad generalist consultancies it deliberately stays within one sector, which is how it competes for regulatory, risk and core banking transformation work against much larger firms. Headquartered in London with delivery centres across Europe, North America and Asia and a large engineering presence in Poland, the firm has been owned by the French IT services group Wipro since 2021.

You'll support clients in delivering meaningful change across sanctions and fraud risk, balancing regulatory compliance with innovation. This is an opportunity to deliver impactful transformation while contributing to a collaborative, people-first consultancy. You'll also leverage approved AI tools and AI-enabled ways of working to improve insight, delivery efficiency, and decision-making while applying appropriate human judgement and responsible AI practices.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver operating model redesigns, technology enablement, and cost optimisation across the three lines of defence, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through AI-enabled workflows.
  • Support clients managing regulatory reviews, remediation programmes, and operational backlogs while ensuring appropriate governance and oversight of AI-assisted outputs.
  • Benchmark and assess controls, identify gaps, and design practical solutions that strengthen risk management using data-driven insights.
  • Contribute to proposition development, client offerings, and business development across the financial crime and fraud domain.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience delivering financial crime transformation within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of sanctions, fraud prevention, investigations, and the wider financial crime landscape.
  • Familiarity with financial crime technology, operational processes, and AI-enabled solutions that improve operational effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to use approved AI tools to enhance analysis and delivery.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to responsible AI adoption within regulated environments.

Bonus Points For

  • Programme or Project Management or Business Analysis experience within financial crime transformation.
  • Experience designing and implementing target operating models and financial crime control frameworks.
  • Experience delivering automation, AI-enabled analytics, or advanced technology solutions within AML, sanctions, or fraud.
  • Previous consulting experience within financial services.
  • For senior candidates, experience leading teams, developing propositions, and supporting business growth.

Why Join Capco

  • Deliver high-impact transformation programmes for Tier 1 financial institutions.
  • Work in a collaborative, flat, and entrepreneurial consulting culture.
  • Access continuous learning, industry certifications, and structured career development.
