tangible outcomes for our clients.\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for an experienced PMO professional with a strong banking or financial services background to support and govern complex transformation programmes across our clients.\nYou will bring a combination of programme governance, portfolio management and banking transformation experience, helping senior programme leadership maintain visibility and control across scope, financials, risks, dependencies, resources and delivery outcomes.\nThe role may support transformation across banking domains such as Retail Banking, Private Banking & Wealth Management, Corporate & Transaction Banking, Payments, Capital Markets, Risk & Regulatory Change, or other areas of financial services.\nThis is a client-facing role suited to someone who can go beyond PMO administration - bringing structure, insight and challenge to complex programmes and helping senior stakeholders make informed delivery decisions.\nWhat You'll Do\nProgramme & Portfolio Governance\nEstablish and maintain effective PMO governance, controls and delivery standards across complex banking transformation programmes.\nSupport Programme Directors, Project Managers and senior stakeholders in maintaining effective oversight of programme performance.\nCoordinate governance forums, Steering Committees and programme reviews, ensuring decisions and actions are clearly captured and followed through.\nMaintain programme-level visibility across scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks and delivery outcomes.\nEnsure projects and workstreams operate consistently within agreed governance frameworks and standards.\nPlanning & Delivery Oversight\nDevelop and maintain integrated programme and portfolio plans across multiple projects and workstreams.\nTrack key milestones, deliverables and dependencies and identify potential delivery risks or slippage.\nChallenge project teams where plans, assumptions or delivery status require further scrutiny.\nConsolidate project-level information into a clear programme or portfolio view for senior leadership.\nSupport programme prioritisation and planning activities across competing initiatives.\nRAID & Change Control\nOwn or coordinate programme-level Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) management.\nEnsure risks and issues are appropriately assessed, owned, tracked and escalated.\nIdentify cross-project dependencies and potential impacts across the wider transformation programme.\nMaintain effective change-control processes and assess the impact of proposed changes on scope, timeline, resources and cost.\nFinancial & Resource Management\nSupport programme financial management, including budget tracking, forecasting, actuals and variance analysis.\nMaintain visibility of resource requirements, capacity and allocation across projects and workstreams.\nIdentify financial or resource risks and provide meaningful analysis to programme leadership.\nSupport business cases, investment governance and programme funding processes where required.\nExecutive Reporting & Insights\nProduce concise and meaningful programme reporting for senior management, Programme Sponsors and Steering Committees.\nTranslate complex programme data into clear insights, trends and actions rather than simply reporting status.\nMonitor programme KPIs and delivery health, highlighting areas requiring management attention.\nPrepare executive-level materials that support effective decision-making and governance.\nStakeholder & Team Management\nBuild strong working relationships across business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, finance and other functions.\nWork closely with Project Managers and workstream leads to drive consistency and accountability across the programme.\nEngage confidently with senior client stakeholders and challenge constructively where required.\nCoordinate with vendors, system integrators and external delivery partners where relevant.\nWhere applicable, lead and develop PMO team members and establish effective PMO ways of working.\nWhat We're Looking For\n8+ years of PMO, Project Management or Programme Management experience within banking or financial services.\nDemonstrated experience supporting or governing complex transformation programmes, rather than purely administrative PMO activities.\nStrong banking domain exposure, ideally across one or more areas such as:Retail Banking\nPrivate Banking / Wealth Management\nCorporate / Commercial Banking\nTransaction Banking / Cash Management\nPayments\nCapital Markets / Markets\nRisk & Regulatory Change\nCore Banking\nOther relevant banking products or functions\n\nStrong experience across programme governance, integrated planning, RAID management, change control, financial management and executive reporting.\nAbility to analyse programme information and identify risks, trends, dependencies and areas requiring intervention.\nExperience working across multiple projects or workstreams within a complex programme or portfolio.\nStrong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior management, Programme Sponsors and Steering Committees.\nStrong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to produce clear executive-level reporting.\nComfortable operating in complex, fast-paced and highly regulated environments.\nAdvantageous Experience\nPrevious experience within management consulting, technology consulting or professional services.\nExperience supporting major banking transformation or regulatory programmes.\nExperience establishing or improving PMO governance and delivery frameworks.\nExposure to portfolio management, investment governance or programme prioritisation.\nExperience managing PMO teams or coordinating geographically distributed delivery teams.\nPMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or equivalent project/programme management certification.\nWhy Join
