tangible outcomes for our clients.\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for experienced Project Managers with a strong banking background to lead complex transformation initiatives across our financial services clients.\nYou will bring a combination of project delivery expertise and banking domain experience, with a track record of successfully delivering transformation within areas such as Retail Banking, Private Banking & Wealth Management, Corporate & Transaction Banking, Payments, Capital Markets or other banking domains.\nThis is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will take ownership of projects from initiation through implementation, working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, delivery teams and external partners.\nYou should be comfortable operating in complex banking environments, bringing structure to ambiguity, challenging where appropriate, and driving teams towards successful delivery.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead Banking Transformation Projects\nLead end-to-end delivery of business and technology transformation initiatives within banking environments, from initiation and planning through implementation and closure.\nDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, dependencies and success measures.\nDevelop and manage integrated project plans covering timelines, resources, budgets, dependencies and quality.\nDrive execution across multiple workstreams and ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed business outcomes.\nTranslate strategic objectives into structured and executable transformation plans.\nOwn Project Governance & Delivery\nEstablish effective project governance and maintain clear decision-making and escalation pathways.\nProactively manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies (RAID) and drive issues through to resolution.\nManage scope, change control, budgets, resources and delivery performance.\nPrepare clear and concise reporting for Project Sponsors, Steering Committees and senior stakeholders.\nEnsure appropriate project controls, documentation and delivery standards are maintained throughout the lifecycle.\nPartner with Banking & Technology Stakeholders\nWork closely with stakeholders across business, product, operations, technology, risk, compliance and other functions.\nBuild trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a credible delivery partner.\nUnderstand the business context behind transformation initiatives and ensure project delivery remains aligned to business objectives.\nNavigate competing priorities and facilitate decisions across complex stakeholder groups.\nCoordinate effectively with vendors, system integrators and other external delivery partners where required.\nLead Teams & Drive Execution\nLead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams across business and technology.\nEstablish clear accountability, delivery cadence and ways of working across project teams.\nIdentify delivery challenges early and take appropriate action to maintain momentum.\nCreate an environment of collaboration, ownership and delivery excellence.\nSupport Change & Implementation\nAssess the business and operational impacts of transformation initiatives.\nCoordinate implementation and business readiness across impacted functions.\nSupport transition from current-state processes and systems into the target environment.\nTrack agreed outcomes and benefits following implementation.\nWhat We're Looking For\n5+ years of Project Management experience within banking or financial services, with direct accountability for end-to-end project delivery.\nDemonstrated experience leading or delivering banking transformation projects, rather than purely BAU or operational initiatives.\nStrong domain experience in at least one area of banking, such as:Retail Banking\nPrivate Banking / Wealth Management\nCorporate / Commercial Banking\nTransaction Banking / Cash Management\nPayments\nCapital Markets / Markets\nCore Banking\nOther relevant banking products or functions\n\nExperience delivering transformation involving business, operations and technology stakeholders.\nStrong understanding of project governance, planning, RAID management, financial management and change control.\nProven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, Project Sponsors and Steering Committees.\nAbility to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous and highly regulated banking environments.\nStrong communication, facilitation and problem-solving capabilities.\nExperience working with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.\nAdvantageous Experience\nPrevious experience within management consulting, technology consulting or professional services.\nExperience delivering large-scale or regional banking transformation programmes.\nExposure to digital transformation, platform modernisation, operating model change, regulatory transformation or technology
