THE ROLE

As a Senior Business Analyst specialising in Data Analysis within our Business Consulting practice, you will partner with business stakeholders and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to improve data quality and enable better business decisions. You will analyse existing data landscapes, understand current data schemas, identify duplicate and inconsistent data across multiple sources, and recommend practical improvements to enhance data quality at source.

This is a business-facing role requiring strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. You will independently conduct discovery sessions, analyse data, present findings to stakeholders, and develop actionable recommendations that support business transformation and operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Analyse existing data models, schemas, and data flows to understand how information is captured and used across multiple systems.
• Identify duplicate, inconsistent, and low-quality data across various data sources and determine root causes.
• Perform data analysis to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, presenting clear findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Recommend practical improvements to strengthen data quality at source, including process enhancements and data governance opportunities.
• Produce high-quality documentation, reports, and roadmaps that support prioritisation and implementation of data improvement initiatives.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 8+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on data analysis, data quality, or data governance initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data schemas, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other data analysis and visualisation tools.
• Experience analysing data from multiple sources to identify duplicates, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

BONUS POINTS FOR

• Experience working within Financial Services or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with data governance, master data management (MDM), or data quality frameworks.
• Experience supporting enterprise data transformation or data migration programmes.
• Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or Data Management.
