The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, cloud technologies, and modern data frameworks to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS services.\nBuild and manage data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., Amazon S3, Redshift, Glue).\nDevelop and optimize batch and real-time data processing systems.\nEnsure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems.\nWork with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nImplement data integration solutions across multiple sources and formats.\nMonitor and troubleshoot data workflows for performance and reliability.\nOptimize costs and performance of AWS data infrastructure.\nCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, and DevOps teams.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n3-8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS services, including:Amazon S3\nAWS Glue\nAmazon Redshift / RDS\nAWS Lambda\nKinesis (for streaming use cases)\n\nProficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).\nExperience with ETL tools and frameworks.\nSolid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and big data concepts.\nFamiliarity with distributed processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Apache Spark, Kafka, or Databricks.\nKnowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).\nAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Engineer / Solutions Architect).\nExperience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).\nKey Competencies\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.\nAttention to detail and commitment to data quality.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.\nNice to Have\nExperience with machine learning data pipelines.\nKnowledge of real-time analytics and streaming architectures.\nExposure to multi-cloud or hybrid environments.\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 72,000 to 96,900\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
