This includes validation of the business data flow , ETL components, data lineage, ETL architecture and you are able to analyze defects during data validation. This includes setting up testing strategy, recommend tools, perform technical feasibility and risk assessments.\nYour Role\nDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for BI, ETL, and data warehouse solutions, ensuring high data quality, accuracy, and reliability.Perform end-to-end validation of business data flows, including source-to-target mappings, data transformations, and reporting layer verification.\nConduct ETL testing for Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica IICS/IDMC, and related data integration solutions to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.\nValidate data lineage, ETL architecture, and data movement across multiple systems to ensure compliance with business requirements and data governance standards.\nAnalyze and troubleshoot data quality issues, identify root causes of defects, and collaborate with ETL developers and data engineers to implement effective resolutions.\nExecute data reconciliation, data integrity, regression, and performance testing to ensure consistency and accuracy across enterprise data environments.\nEvaluate, recommend, and implement appropriate testing tools, automation frameworks, and best practices to improve test coverage, efficiency, and quality assurance processes.Perform technical feasibility studies and risk assessments, identifying potential data, process, and system risks while providing mitigation recommendations.\nCollaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of BI and data integration initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain test artifacts including test cases, test scripts, validation queries (SQL), defect logs, and testing documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.\nYour skills and experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.\n8+ years of experience in ETL Testing, BI Testing, Data Warehouse Testing, or Data Quality Assurance.\nHands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or Informatica IDMC.\nStrong knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data validation techniques.\nAdvanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for data analysis and validation.\nExperience testing large-scale data warehouse and business intelligence environments.\nStrong understanding of source-to-target mapping validation and data reconciliation.\nExperience with test management and defect tracking tools.\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nKnowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage concepts.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nExposure to reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Business Objects,\nInformatica PowerCenterInformatica IICS / IDMCETL TestingBI TestingData Warehouse TestingSQL / PL-SQLData ValidationData ReconciliationData Lineage\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $76,730 - $150,800\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
