The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Life Insurance products including Term Life, Whole Life (WL), Universal Life (UL), and Variable Universal Life (VUL) and experience working closely with business stakeholders, actuarial teams, underwriting, product management, and technology teams to drive business transformation and system enhancements.\nKey Responsibilities\nGather, analyze, and document business requirements for Life Insurance products and actuarial processes.\nCollaborate with actuarial, product, underwriting, policy administration, and IT teams to define business solutions.\nTranslate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nSupport product development, pricing, valuation, reserve calculations, and regulatory reporting initiatives.\nWork on policy lifecycle processes including New Business, Policy Administration, Billing, Claims, and Servicing.\nAnalyze impacts of product changes and ensure alignment with business objectives and actuarial assumptions.\nFacilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, requirement walkthroughs, and UAT sessions.\nSupport testing activities by developing test scenarios, reviewing test results, and validating business outcomes.\nPerform gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.\nEnsure compliance with insurance regulations and actuarial standards.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nInsurance Domain\nStrong experience in Retail Life Insurance.\nIn-depth understanding of:\nTerm Life Insurance\nWhole Life (WL)\nUniversal Life (UL)\nVariable Universal Life (VUL)\nKnowledge of policy administration and life insurance operations.\nActuarial Expertise\nStrong understanding of:\nActuarial models and methodologies\nPricing and product development\nReserves and statutory reporting\nMortality and lapse assumptions\nRisk analysis and profitability studies\nExperience working with actuarial teams and actuarial calculations\nBusiness Analysis\nRequirement gathering and elicitation\nBRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases\nProcess Mapping and Gap Analysis\nAgile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies\nStakeholder Management\nUAT Planning and Execution\nNice to Have\nExperience with US, Canadian, or LATAM Life Insurance markets.\nExperience in product migrations, digital transformation, or cloud modernization programs.\nKnowledge of regulatory frameworks and actuarial reporting standards.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent stakeholder management\nEffective communication and documentation skills\nAbility to bridge business and technology teams\nStrong understanding of life insurance products and actuarial concepts\nMandatory Skills: Retail Life Insurance, Actuarial Analysis, Term Life, Whole Life, Universal Life, Variable Universal Life, Requirements Gathering, UAT, Stakeholder Management, SQL.'\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 115,000 - 135,000\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
