All underpinned by technology created with purpose.\nYour Role\nAs a Content Designer, you will be joining the growing and exciting Digital Excellence community who are continually sharing knowledge and expertise. We are all passionate about user-centred design, critical thinking, problem solving and designing and building digital services and products.\nYou will champion inclusive design practices throughout our project lifecycles, ensuring solutions are accessible to as many users as possible. This includes engaging with diverse user research, applying accessibility guidelines and legislation, and advocating for inclusive design principles in your deliverables.\nWorking at Capgemini Invent would give you opportunities to develop and grow, working with major clients in both public and private sector. Our offices are in a variety of locations including London, Manchester and Glasgow. We offer hybrid working, however depending on your project you may have to travel to client locations.\nIdentify and build strong relationships with clients across projects, influencing and collaborating with them on the content\nCreate and iterate accurate user-centred content to a high standard that meets user needs\nUse analytics data, user feedback and user research to identify the needs of users and map user journeys\nMake complex language and processes easy to understand\nBring new ideas and challenge the status quo\nBe an advocate for user-centred design, iterative and agile approaches. \nYou will bring the following skills and experience:\nStrong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practice\nExperience working in multidisciplinary Agile teams to design and deliver user-centred services\nExperience of designing content for diverse users including accessibility and assisted digital needs\nYou will either already have SC (Security Check) Clearance or you are able to qualify for this level of clearance (by being a UK resident for at least 3 years and not having left the country for more than 6 consecutive months during this period)\nExperience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards, applying GDS design principles\nExperience working with relevant accessibility standards and legislation, such as the Web Content Accessibility Regulations (WCAG)\nExperience writing inclusive content in plain English\nGood communication and stakeholder management skills \nIdeally, you will also have:\nExperience working in sectors that operate in complex regulatory environments (e.g. healthcare or public sector) or performing a consulting function to private sector clientsCertifications in accessibility (CPACC, WAS, CPWA) or working towards\nExperience testing and auditing assistive technology (JAWS, Dragon, ZoomText) and accessibility features for Windows and macOS\nCertification and/or qualifications in Service Design or Design Thinking\nExperience in running training around Service Design or Design Thinking\nExperience managing and leading high performing teams\nExperience working with various tools such as Miro, Mural, Teams, PowerPoint\n\nWhat You'll Love About Working Here\nYou’ll gain exposure to high-profile transformations and gain hands-on exposure to leading technologies.\nOur consultants are formally trained by industry experts in consulting and client delivery.
