Where no two days are the same.\nYOUR ROLE\nIn this role you will play a key role in ensuring the availability, performance, security and integrity of the database platforms that support critical services.\nIn this role you will play a key role in:\nAdministering, maintaining and optimising database platforms in critical and high-availability environments, ensuring continuity of service at all times\nProactively monitoring system performance using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, identifying and resolving bottlenecks before they impact operations\nManaging backup strategies and data recovery processes, guaranteeing data integrity and business continuity\nAutomating operational tasks through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort\nCollaborating closely with Development, Systems and Infrastructure teams to implement best practices in database operations and security\nYOUR PROFILE\nAt least 3 years of experience in database administration in critical environments, with solid hands-on knowledge of MySQL and Redis\nProven experience working with containerised and orchestrated environments, particularly Kubernetes, and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex incidents and deliver effective solutions under pressure\nExperience with cloud or containerised environments is a plus, as well as a proactive mindset, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to teamwork\nDemonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, with a strong sense of commitment, professionalism and attention to detail\nWHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE\nJoin a multicultural and inclusive team environment\nEnjoy a supportive atmosphere promoting work-life balance\nHybrid work\nYour career growth is central to our mission.
