Join us in helping leading organizations unlock the value of technology and drive scalable, sustainable growth.\nYour Role\nAs a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, securing, and supporting enterprise database environments across Oracle and SQL Server platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring database availability, performance, backup and recovery readiness, cloud integration, security compliance, and operational excellence within large-scale enterprise ecosystems.\nIn this role, you will:\nAdminister and maintain mission-critical Oracle Database 19c+ and Microsoft SQL Server environments.\nManage high-availability solutions including Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.\nPerform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations using RMAN, Veeam, and Commvault.\nAnalyze and resolve performance bottlenecks using AWR, ADDM, SQL Tuning, and Resource Management techniques.\nSupport database workloads hosted on Microsoft Azure.\nManage Azure storage solutions including Ultra Disk and Premium SSD v2 for database platforms.\nImplement database security controls including Oracle Wallets, TDE (Transparent Data Encryption), and access management.\nSupport and maintain enterprise security tools such as Imperva Database Security.\nConfigure and manage monitoring solutions using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and automated health-check frameworks.\nDevelop automation scripts using SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting.\nYour Profile\n6+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.\nStrong expertise in Oracle Database 19c+ Administration.\nExperience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.\nKnowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Administration.\nHands-on experience with backup and recovery technologies including RMAN, Veeam, and Commvault.\nStrong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.\nExperience supporting database workloads in Microsoft Azure.\nExpertise in database security, encryption, and access management.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise databases.\nImplement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.\nPerform performance diagnostics and optimization activities.\nAdminister HA/DR solutions including RAC and Data Guard.\nEnhance security posture through encryption and access controls.\nAutomate routine DBA activities through scripting.\nMonitor database health and proactively address issues.\nSupport cloud migration and Azure database modernization initiatives.\nAbout Us\nAt Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, architects, and technology experts to help the world's most innovative companies unleash their potential.
