This role requires strong hands on technical leadership across MuleSoft integrations, Java/Spring Boot development, CI/CD automation, and emerging AI/MCP server capabilities, along with experience in cloud and messaging technologies.\nThe Development Lead will work onsite to closely collaborate with architecture, product, and delivery teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and high quality solutions aligned with enterprise standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the end to end design and development of integration and application solutions\nAct as the technical lead and mentor for development teams, providing code reviews and architectural guidance\nDesign and implement MuleSoft based integration architectures, including APIs, message flows, and system integrations\nDrive hands on development using Java and Spring Boot for enterprise scale applications\nImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring automated build, test, and deployment processes\nIntegrate AI related capabilities, including MCP server concepts, to support intelligent automation and next generation solutions\nCollaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions\nEnsure adherence to security, performance, scalability, and compliance standards expected in an insurance enterprise\nSupport production readiness, troubleshooting, and performance optimization\nParticipate actively in Agile / Scaled Agile delivery processes and release planning\nPrimary Skills (Required)\nMuleSoft Integration Architect\no Strong experience designing and implementing MuleSoft APIs and integration patterns\nJava Senior Developer\no Extensive hands on experience with Java and Spring Boot\nDevOps / CI CD\no Strong experience with Jenkins based CI/CD pipelines and automation\nAI / MCP Server Skills\no Exposure to MCP server concepts and AI driven solution components\nSecondary Skills (Preferred)\nAWS Cloud Services\no Experience with RDS, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, and related AWS services\nKafka\no Experience with event driven architectures and Kafka based messaging\nDatabases\no Strong working knowledge of Oracle databases\nExperience in enterprise integration patterns and distributed systems\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)\nProven experience as a Development Lead / Technical Lead in large scale enterprise environments\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams\nExperience working in financial services or insurance environments is highly preferred\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 109,000 to 143,000.\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
