The successful candidate will work with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to standardize software delivery, improve platform reliability, automate operational activities, and support cloud-native applications.\nThe role requires strong hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD automation, observability, secrets management, Linux, and scripting. The selected candidate will also support production troubleshooting, platform migrations, and reusable engineering solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and reusable automation workflows.\nDeploy and support containerized applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes.\nDevelop reusable GitHub Actions and GitLab CI templates to standardize application delivery.\nImplement GitOps-based deployments using tools such as Argo CD, Flux, and Helm.\nAutomate infrastructure and operational activities using Python, Bash, Ansible, and similar tools.\nIntegrate applications and delivery pipelines with enterprise secrets-management platforms.\nBuild and support observability capabilities across logs, metrics, and distributed traces.\nDevelop automated platform validation, monitoring, and remediation solutions.\nSupport the migration of applications and microservices from legacy container or virtualization platforms to OpenShift.\nTroubleshoot CI/CD, container, infrastructure, networking, and production runtime issues.\nImplement code-quality and security controls within delivery pipelines.\nParticipate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.\nCreate technical documentation, operating procedures, and reusable platform standards.\nCollaborate with application teams to improve developer experience and release reliability.\nRequired Skills\nStrong experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman.\nHands-on experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or comparable CI/CD platforms.\nExperience with Argo CD, Helm, Git, and GitOps delivery practices.\nStrong scripting and automation skills using Python and Bash.\nExperience working in Linux-based enterprise environments.\nExperience integrating HashiCorp Vault or a comparable secrets-management solution.\nExperience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Elasticsearch, Kibana, or Jaeger.\nUnderstanding of microservices, container networking, and cloud-native application architecture.\nExperience supporting production systems and resolving platform or deployment incidents.\nKnowledge of code-quality tools such as SonarQube.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Ansible, StackStorm, Zabbix, or automated remediation.\nExposure to AWS, GCP, OpenStack, VMware, or Rancher.\nFamiliarity with Active Directory and LDAP integrations.\nExperience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2, or MongoDB.\nProgramming exposure to Java, Node.js, C#, or C++.\nEducation\nDiploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 70000 to 90000\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
