The platform is designed to accelerate the delivery of hardened operating system images across major public cloud providers, enabling engineering teams to securely manage the end-to-end lifecycle of OS images through self-service capabilities.\nThe hardened OS images play a critical role in securing both enterprise and digital product workloads, supporting highly sensitive environments that must comply with strict regulatory standards and certifications such as HITRUST and the ISO 27000 family. The platform is built to provide a stable, secure, reliable, and continuously updated operating system landscape.\nThe OS Factory is a highly automated, scalable, and self-service solution that supports multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, and other specialized cloud providers.\nYour Role\nAs a Python & DevOps Engineer, you will play a key engineering role in building and evolving the Hardened OS Factory platform while fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDesigning, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and extensible software solutions.\nBuilding and enhancing platform components and services to support developer self-service capabilities.\nCollaborating with Platform Owners to define requirements, prioritize development activities, and continuously improve the platform experience.\nIntegrating software solutions with existing CI/CD pipelines.\nDeveloping dynamic GitLab CI/CD pipelines using Python.\nDesigning and implementing serverless, event-driven architectures across cloud platforms.\nAutomating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and testing processes.\nSupporting platform operations, reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nContributing to a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation, automation, and platform enablement.\nYour Profile\nWe're looking for a candidate with:\nExperience working with major cloud providers, such as AWS (nice to have experience with Azure and GCP)\n\nStrong hands-on experience in Python development.\nKnowledge of serverless and event-driven architecture patterns.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools including Terraform and Ansible.\n\nSolid understanding of CI/CD practices, particularly with GitLab CI/CD.\n\nExperience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.\n\nKnowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset\n\nExperience working in large-scale, cloud-native, highly automated environments is highly desirable.\n\nNice to Have:\nRelevant certifications are considered a plus, including:\nAWS Certifications\nKubernetes Certifications (CKA/CKAD or equivalent)\n\nWhat You Will Love About Working Here\nWe care about all our employees and want them to feel as comfortable as possible.
