Join us in helping leading organizations unlock the value of technology and drive scalable, sustainable growth.\nYour Role\nAs a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and sustaining embedded software solutions for industrial and electronic products. You will work across the complete firmware development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, debugging, integration, testing, and product sustenance. The role requires strong expertise in embedded software development, low-level device drivers, microcontroller programming, RTOS, communication protocols, and root-cause analysis.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain firmware for production products and product enhancements.\nPerform technical investigations, anomaly replication, debugging, and root cause analysis of field and customer-reported issues.\nAnalyze system-level symptoms and identify probable firmware and hardware root causes.\nConduct impact assessments for software enhancements, hardware revisions, and design modifications.\nCreate functional requirements and technical specifications for derivative products.\nCollaborate with hardware teams to evaluate design alternatives, component obsolescence, and cost-optimized solutions.\nDevelop low-level drivers, firmware modules, and embedded software components.\nExecute unit testing, integration testing, and system validation activities.\nYour Profile\nStrong experience in Embedded C, Assembly Programming, and Object-Oriented C++.\nHands-on experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers.\nExpertise in low-level driver development and hardware-oriented firmware design.\nExperience working with digital and analog hardware interfaces.\nStrong understanding of embedded software architecture and design patterns.\nExperience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks, ThreadX, Quadros, or similar.\nExperience implementing communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, USB, Wi-Fi, CAN, and Profibus.\nAbout Us\nAt Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and technology experts to help the world's most innovative companies unleash their potential.
