The Group reported 2025 global revenues of €22.5 billion.\nJob Description\nSupport the lifecycle maintenance and continuous improvement of released embedded products.\nInvestigate customer-reported issues and field failures through systematic root-cause analysis and debugging.\nDevelop, implement, and validate firmware enhancements, defect fixes, and product updates.\nAnalyze product impacts and risks associated with design changes, component substitutions, and firmware modifications.\nSupport component obsolescence, resiliency, and product cost-reduction initiatives.\nCollaborate with hardware, software, quality, manufacturing, and product management teams to deliver sustainable solutions.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and engineering reports.\nSupport manufacturing, qualification, and production-related engineering activities when required.\nJob Requirements\nEducation\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.\n\nExperience\nMinimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems or firmware engineering.\nProven experience in developing and supporting real-time embedded systems.\nExperience in product sustenance, customer issue resolution, or continuation engineering is highly desirable.\nExperience in industrial automation, industrial communication products, or control systems is an advantage.\n\nTechnical Skills\nStrong programming skills in C and C++.\nExperience with 32-bit microcontrollers (preferably ARM-based platforms).\nStrong understanding of RTOS-based embedded applications.\nExperience developing low-level device drivers and board support software.\nExperience with debugging embedded hardware and software issues.\nFamiliarity with version control systems (Git), static analysis tools, and Agile development practices.\nKnowledge of communication protocols below is a plusTCP/IP\nEthernet\nCAN\nUSB\nSerial communication protocols\n\nExperience with automated testing and unit testing frameworks is a plus.\nLet’s talk about what’s in it for you!\nPassionate people are Capgemini's Ace of Spades - join us to discover a career that will challenge, support and inspire you.
