Join us in helping leading organizations unlock the value of technology and drive scalable, sustainable growth.\nYour Role\nAs a Test Engineer / Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating embedded products and software-intensive automation systems through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with development, hardware, and quality teams to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance across all stages of the development lifecycle in an Agile environment.\nIn this role, you will:\nPerform functional and embedded product testing in Agile development environments.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts based on project requirements and test strategies.\nExecute manual and automated tests on simulators and target systems.\nDefine test scope, coverage, and execution strategies for test campaigns.\nValidate software implementations against requirements and design specifications.\nSupport Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing activities using Jenkins.\nReport, track, and manage defects using enterprise quality management tools.\nInvestigate test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.\nPerform hardware-functional validation and system-level testing.\nSupport installation, integration, and commissioning activities for embedded products.\nEnsure system quality, reliability, stability, and performance.\nYour Profile\nBE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, or related disciplines.\n4+ years of experience in Embedded Product Testing and Test Automation.\nStrong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.\nExperience testing embedded systems and software-intensive industrial products.\nKnowledge of automation testing frameworks and test environments.\nExperience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.\nGood understanding of electronics fundamentals and ability to read electrical schematics.\nExperience with requirement management, configuration management, and defect tracking processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute manual and automated test cases.\nValidate embedded software and hardware functionality against requirements.\nSupport CI/CD and automated test execution pipelines.\nConduct functional, integration, regression, and system testing activities.\nManage defect lifecycle, tracking, and reporting.\nParticipate in test planning, estimation, and coverage analysis.\nSupport product commissioning and system acceptance testing.\nAbout Us\nAt Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and technology experts to help the world's most innovative companies unleash their potential.
