It contributes to technically sound, reusable, maintainable, and secure solutions, performs detailed impact analysis, and delivers production-ready functionality each sprint with limited guidance from senior engineers or architects.\nEssential Job Functions\nCodes and configures programs, objects, components, and packaged software across applications to deliver required business functionality.\nProvides advanced technical input to solution design and application functionality, ensuring alignment with business needs, architectural standards, and platform best practices.\nReviews and validates code, configuration, and supporting documentation produced by team members.\nDevelops reusable and maintainable application components with attention to performance, security, reliability, and efficient resource utilization.\nPerforms impact assessments across people, processes, data, applications, and integrations before implementing changes.\nAnalyzes existing manual and automated processes and implements improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and sustainability.\nResearches and applies automation techniques to improve development, testing, deployment, and operational support.\nPerforms quality checks on code, configuration, related components, test evidence, and documentation; delivers working code incrementally each sprint.\nSupports implementation and release activities, troubleshoots environment and production issues, performs root cause analysis, and drives corrective actions.\nSupports CI/CD and DevOps pipelines, automated builds and deployments, environment troubleshooting, release readiness, and production support.\nProvides technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to junior team members when needed.\nSpecial Skill Requirements\nMinimum 7 years of experience in solution engineering, software development, or a related technology field.\nMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire products, preferably PolicyCenter, including configuration and integration development.\nHands-on experience implementing Guidewire PolicyCenter in a SaaS/cloud model or supporting migration from an on-premises or self-managed implementation to SaaS.\nExperience designing and developing page configuration files, business rules, data models, extensions, and GUnit tests.\nExperience integrating PolicyCenter with internal and external portals and enterprise systems.\nExperience with Gosu, REST services, Guidewire APIs, messaging, events, message queues, plugins, and batch processes.\nExperience with Advanced Product Designer is preferred;
