FBS Workforce Insights Consultant
Supports HR Reporting and Analytics to solve business problems using quantitative and qualitative analysis for resolution. Analyzes workforce metrics, trends/patterns and statistical models to solve information problems. Assists in developing related predictive analytics. Supports standard reporting and data analysis needs and/or local support of information systems in HR. Assists support team members with understanding data and meeting user requirements. Participates in project work groups with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to support data specific needs.
Essential Job Functions
Assists in the creation and maintenance of standard management and ad hoc reports. Provide quantitative comparisons of data points using statistical analysis communicated in a manner understandable to business stakeholders. Gather requirements based on customer needs. Collaborate with subject matter experts across the HR service areas (COEs and HRBP/HR Consultant team) and finance to promote data governance and stewardship and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight. Communicate findings in a clear and simple manner with excellent written and oral communication skills. Complies with all rules and laws and HR policies and procedures related to information systems. Ensures confidentiality of records and HR information. Execute reporting and analysis with a focus on process improvement. Supports running models and reports to analyze workforce data to identify significant differences, relationships, root causes and trends. Report results of statistical analyses in the form of graphs, charts, and tables. Analyze reports to support the organization. Extract data from a variety of sources (databases, web, text files) and in a variety of formats (structured, unstructured). Construct and validate predictive models using a variety of techniques. Manage multiple basic to intermediate level projects that support HR and business needs. Keep all projects highly organized. Project Management. Provides training solutions to end users and further develops Manager and HR self-service in the reporting function to meet client needs. Continuously research and learn new data science tools and techniques to find applicability at Farmers.
Requirements
Minimum three years analytics experience in relevant field Experience in proactively identifying, prioritizing and delivering small to mid size projects which have demonstrable benefits for the business. Remains current with governmental regulations which affect HR information systems and participates and helps develop changes and enh ancements with the global GEMS team. Basic process design and mapping skills. General knowledge of measurement and statistics. Strong interpersonal, communication, time management skills (deleted influencing skills). Basic proficiency in data visualization applications (e.g., R, Python, Tableau, etc.). Basic proficiency in SQL.
