As part of this journey, you’ll contribute to the launch of a new Tech Hub in Porto, helping to drive innovative, technology-led solutions that are transforming how businesses move while contributing to a more sustainable future.\nYOUR ROLE\nDrive the end-to-end development and delivery of product features across React, TypeScript, Node.js and NestJS applications.\n\nTranslate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable and secure technical solutions.\n\nDesign and develop frontend experiences using React, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, TanStack Query and Zod.\n\nDesign and implement backend services, business logic and REST APIs with NestJS, ensuring performance, reliability and maintainability.\n\nBuild and maintain shared contracts, validation schemas and integrations across frontend and backend systems.\n\nDesign and optimise PostgreSQL data models, queries and database interactions using Prisma, TypeORM or MikroORM.\n\nImplement secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT and JWKS.\n\nDefine and maintain automated testing strategies across frontend and backend applications.\n\nSupport deployment and operations through Docker and Kubernetes environments.\n\nReview code, mentor team members and contribute to engineering standards, architecture and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nCollaborate closely with Product, Design and Platform Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\n\nYOUR PROFILE\nStrong experience building modern Full Stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS and PostgreSQL.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of frontend architecture, state management, component design, performance optimisation and accessibility best practices.\n\nStrong understanding of software architecture, API design, authentication patterns and distributed application development.\n\nExperience working with TanStack Query, Zod, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Prisma, TypeORM or MikroORM.\n\nSolid knowledge of testing methodologies and tools including Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Supertest and exposure to Playwright.\n\nExperience working with containerised and cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nFamiliarity with OpenAPI, Swagger, Scalar, Storybook, monorepos and shared frontend/backend contract approaches.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently navigate ambiguity, manage technical risks and make sound engineering decisions.\n\nProven experience collaborating in Agile environments and working effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to mentor developers, perform code reviews and drive engineering excellence across the team.\n\nWHAT WE´LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE?\nAt Capgemini Portugal we have a flexible and dynamic work environment.
