This role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead a high performing organization while establishing enterprise grade data platform capabilities at scale.\nYour Role\nAs Head of Data Platform Foundations, you will be responsible for defining, delivering, and operating the core data platform capabilities that underpin enterprise data, analytics, and AI initiatives.\nIn this role, you will:\nDefine and own the long term technology roadmap for the Data Platform, including automation, modernization, and AI enablement\nProvide architectural leadership and governance across all Data Cloud initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards\nOversee the design and delivery of core platform components, including landing zones, data pipelines, integrations, and environments\nEnsure scalability, resilience, performance, and cost efficiency of the Data Platform\nDrive adoption of DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code practices across the platform organization\nEstablish and enforce security by design principles, including access control, encryption, network isolation, and monitoring\nEnsure stable and reliable platform operations, covering both batch and real time data pipelines\nLead and develop a multidisciplinary organization of architects, engineers, and DevOps specialists\nAct as the primary interface between business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, and delivery teams\nManage strategic relationships with cloud providers, technology vendors, and system integrators\nYour Profile\n10+ years of experience in data platforms, data architecture, or large scale data engineering\nMinimum 5+ years in a senior leadership or architect role owning enterprise data platforms\nStrong hands on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and modern data ecosystems (data lakes, data warehouses, real time architectures)\nDeep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD, and DevOps operating models\nSolid foundation in cloud infrastructure, networking, landing zones, and security architecture\nStrong leadership, communication, and decision making capabilities\nNice to have: experience with multi cloud or hybrid cloud environments, exposure to AI/ML platforms, and experience in large regulated enterprise environments.\nYour Career\nJoining Capgemini is not just about starting a new job, it means becoming part of something bigger.
