Reporting directly to the UK HR Director, this role sits at the heart of the UK HR leadership team and plays a critical role in shaping and delivering the people agenda across multiple business units and operating models.\nThis position supports a combined employee population of c.3,800 people across consulting, applications, delivery, and specialist business units, operating within a highly matrixed environment with both UK and global interfaces. The role requires strong strategic judgement, hands-on leadership, and the ability to operate credibly with senior leaders across the business.\nYour Role\nAs HR Director for a broad and varied set of UK business areas, you will lead and deliver the people agenda in alignment with Capgemini’s country and group HR strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, ensuring people priorities support business performance, client delivery, and long-term capability.\nKey responsibilities include:\nActing as strategic HR Business Partner to senior leaders across multiple UK business units.\nSetting and driving the people strategy for the portfolio aligned to UK and Group HR direction.\nProviding leadership across workforce planning, talent management, succession, reward, engagement and employee relations.\nPartnering with leadership on organisation design and capability planning.\nDriving culture, engagement and inclusion across a hybrid workforce.\nUsing people data and insight to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.\nOperating effectively in a matrixed HR operating model.\nContributing to wider UK HR leadership activities.\nSkills and experience\nProven senior HR leadership experience in large, matrixed organisations, ideally technology or consulting.\nStrategic mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on delivery approach.\nStrong stakeholder influence at executive level.\nDeep experience across talent, workforce planning, organisation design and employee relations.\nExperience supporting employee populations of 3,000+.\nHigh integrity, discretion and strong commercial judgement.\nComfortable operating across UK and global business contexts.\nLeadership & team context\nThe role provides leadership and oversight to a team of HR Business Partners and HR professionals aligned to the business portfolio, within a matrixed structure.\nHybrid working\nThe places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business;
