The role involves managing service tickets, performing both planned and unplanned operational tasks, and ensuring system stability across Linux, Windows and AIX platforms. The position also requires active participation in continuous improvement initiatives and close collaboration with other technical teams. Our client is based in France, which is why French language is essential for effective daily communication. As a local team, we work from our office in Katowice, where we regulary meet and collaborate.\nYour tasks\nProvide second-line systems support\nManage and resolve tickets related to incidents, service requests, changes, problems, and patching activities\nPerform scheduled operational tasks as well as ad hoc technical interventions\nParticipate in the implementation of system and process improvements\nCooperate with internal IT teams to maintain service quality and availability\nYour profile\nFluent verbal and written communication skills in French\nStrong knowledge of Linux, Windows and AIX systems\nExperience with enterprise scheduling tools (e.g. Control-M, IBM Workload Scheduler)\nHands-on administration of Windows Server (VMware & physical servers)\nSystem maintenance, patching (WSUS), and troubleshooting skills\nAbility to analyze logs, monitor system health, and tune performance\nAutomation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)\nSolid understanding of LVM, filesystems, disk management, and NAS\nExperience resolving system, filesystem, service, and VM performance issues\nWillingness to work in a rotating shift pattern between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM and participate in an on-call support rotation when needed\nWhat You'll love about working here\nWell-being culture: medical care with Medicover, private life insurance, and Sports card.
