As a part of global procurement, you will be a part of that story, participating in bids and ongoing business for our internal and external clients - leveraging our alliances and vendors. We are committed to hiring, developing and retaining the best people to deliver innovative, world-class solutions for our clients.\nYour role will include:\nBusiness partnering for local deal and account teams\nContributing to the global sourcing strategies in your category perimeter (HW, SW or Telco)\nAligning with the strategy and objectives of the area Business Leaders and Global Procurement, ensuring Group standards, policies, practices and processes are adhered to\nVendor local management and contract negotiations\nDelivering savings (P&L, cashback and cost avoidance) to the area Business in order to meet or exceed targets\nContributing to analysing procurement related data, creating, maintaining reports and management presentations\nContributing to the improvement and development of procurement specific processes and tools aligned with our global approach\nYour profile\nWe are looking for someone with appr. 2-3 years of experience in IT and Telco sourcing and procurement with:\nGood leadership skills\nAbility to track record of delivering savings, whilst also understanding the value of quality and service provision\nGood negotiation skills - knowledge of strategies and approaches\nContract knowledge - e.g. implementing, reviewing, flow downs, contract changes, novations, terminations\nFinancial and commercial understanding\nVery good communication and networking skills and the capability to work effectively as either an individual or as part of a team in a matrix environment.\nGood problem solving skills and can-do attitude\nStrong influencing skills to use both a facilitative and directive approach to “sell” method to internal clients and negotiate with suppliers\nThe capability to adapt to fast changing schedules and priorities\nExcellent communication in English (oral and written), German will be a plus\nThis position is based at the office in Utrecht and thus flexible working is one of the possibilities.\nYour work environment\nAt Capgemini, you shape your own future.
