Where no two days are the same.\nAbout the role you're considering\nCapgemini is hiring an Enterprise Architect to own the end-to-end target architecture for a large, complex PLM modernization at a major Aerospace & Defense OEM - anchored on a Siemens Teamcenter backbone and connected across the engineering, manufacturing and certification ecosystem.\nYou are skilled across the full lifecycle - from scoping and shaping through to delivery and run - and you make the integration, data, AI-readiness and digital-continuity decisions that let a multi-system landscape behave as one coherent, agent-ready digital thread.\nYour Role\nDefine and govern the target-state PLM architecture centered on Siemens Teamcenter, covering CAD management, process planning, and integrations with ERP, MES/MOM, ALM, and certification systems.\nDesign and maintain an end-to-end digital thread that ensures traceability and data continuity across requirements, engineering, manufacturing, change management, and certification processes.\nArchitect and enable an AI-powered, agentic-ready PLM ecosystem through open APIs, structured data accessibility, MCP/agentic integration layers, and support for augmented engineering use cases.\nEstablish the AI-Powered PLM strategy and roadmap, identifying high-value AI and agentic opportunities while enabling an AI-accelerated software development and delivery lifecycle.\nDefine the enterprise integration strategy, ensuring seamless interoperability between Teamcenter and adjacent engineering, manufacturing, and business systems while maintaining scalability, security, and performance.\nLead architecture decision-making, including build-versus-configure evaluations, platform sizing, non-functional requirements, upgradeability considerations, and optimization of total cost of ownership.\nAdvise engineering, business, and IT stakeholders on future-state operating models, architecture direction, investment priorities, and phased transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and budgets.\nEstablish and enforce architecture governance, standards, and best practices, assuring solution and technical architectures remain aligned with target-state principles and delivery objectives.\nEnsure solutions comply with Aerospace & Defense regulatory and engineering requirements, including configuration management, change control, certification traceability, and relevant standards such as AS9100 and ARP4754A.\nYour skills and experience\n18+ years in enterprise / solution architecture, with major PLM landscapes in scope.\nProven design of integrated architectures spanning PLM, CAD, ERP and MES/MOM; strong command of Siemens Teamcenter's enterprise architect role.\nExperience designing AI-ready / API-open platforms and understanding of agentic / MCP integration patterns for augmented engineering.\nExperience architecting for onshore-offshore delivery models that mirror a client organization.\nExperience in Aerospace & Defense or another regulated, complex-product industry.\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $98,497 - $233,248\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
